Now that I no longer have to go to the tent maker for my clothing, I have been looking for a style that is me. Not for every day, but for those really special occasions when you want to feel wonderful, sexy and all that and a bag of chips(soy that is) as they use to say? Well, I found it. And where? In a Goodwill. See all that haunting of thrift shops has finally paid off. I found this gorgeous (Paris) jump suit (like Bacall or Crawford from the 40's). Who would ever have thought that I was a vintage girl? I also found a wonderful coat (in a totally different thrift shop) from the same era. Isn't it wonderful that I can sew, so I can have vintage styles whenever I want, in the wonderful fabrics of today. Hazel

That's great, Hazel. I haven't thought about making clothes again, yet, but guess I can after I lose my weight and have PS. Patterns haven't fit right in a long time. I used to sew a lot and now just do for nieces and baby gifts, etc. Karla

Hazel---shhhhhhh!!! I am a bigtime thrift store shopper---I love beautiful, expensive things that I can't afford and since I live close to some very ritzy, richy areas I do VERY well at goodwills and church second hand stores----- I can have lovely handmade italian shoes and Dana Buchman suits for my everyday wear.....sigh! I also have my share of Lane Bryant cottons, but I do so love high end fabrics and lined jackets and one of a kind sweaters and scarves and and on and on and on.... Now, piccys, please of the finds---!!!! Cathy
