I give up!

I give up--they are never going to post my pic---it's been waiting for weeks--it shows on the main board, just not here. I don't see a way to contact anyone from OH to ask them either....oh well, perhaps my face is toooo scary On another note--I have been watching "what not to wear"--- love Stacey and Clinton. So today I tried on all sorts of things I usually wouldn't----. It was a kick-- I tried on a silky wrap dress that I thought would look ridiculous on me (think Dianne Von Furstenburg old style wrap)-----I tried it because I thought of how the show always says to have things nip in at the smallest part of you--well, it was very cute. It made me look more hourglass than pear and the swirly-ness made me feel very sexy. I put in on with kitten heels and pranced around the dressing room (BIG fun). It was a hit! I didn't buy it because the trying on was enough. Then I did the low jeans (sposed to make the bum look smaller) with the dark wash, no stretch and slight flair with tall, skinny heels----sooo fun, I felt a little hootchie, but it looked pretty good. I did the baby doll top thing over it---the plunge top that cuts in below the girls and then flairs out. It was a look I think is a little young for me, but I loved it! anyhow! I mean trying this all on was a gas---- I bought nothing, but I felt like one of you stylish girls------ Cathy

Cathy....GO BACK AND BUY IT!!!! You DID NOT lose all that weight to look frumpy and hidden. If it look cute enough for you to wear in a dressing room, then it looks cute enough to wear in public. Girl, be good to yourself! April

Thank you, April! I think I dress pretty well---but I'm not really stylish, if you know what I mean?!? I'm kinda boring ( I call it classic: tee-hee)-----and really, I think the clothes were a little young for me---but you have me thinking about the wrap dress...... I mean, my ta-tas were pretty fab in that dress!!!!! Cathy

Cath: I cannot imagine you being boring in ANY way! You should have bought one of those outfits! I agree with April...go back and buy one! And post pictures! I think you and I are around the same age, right? Well...who said we can't dress young! Although...hmm...sometimes I probably dress in things meant for another generation but I do not care...people tell me I look like I am in my mid-twenties so why not accentuate that! Just this week I bought a t-shirt from Hot Topic. It has David Bowie in the movie "Labyrinth" (my all-time fav. movie) on it. I pair it with a demin mini-skirt I bought a month ago...it is dark-wash denim with army-fatigue pockets (actually, I am wearing the skirt in a pic in my profile with another black t-shirt that is too young for me). When I wear "young" clothes like that, I have to fight off the urge to wear really black smudgy eyeliner and be totally young-gothic...but I have fun, anyway! You are a fun person...dress to relflect your personality! And have a GREAT day! Jersey

ok----you girls have convinced me---when I get a chance I'm going back (it's a bit far) and buying the lot of it!!!! I will post pics and you can make wolf whistles at your computer Remember, I'm soooooo fine Yes, J, we are about the same age----I think you are right--(about the dressing young thing)--who cares?!? Besides, I've spent many years wearing clothes I didn't love cuz I was trying to cover things up and look slimmer----. Cathy, first of all, I was thrilled to see a picture with your post!! We've been waiting a long time to put a face with that fabulous wit of yours! Now, can we get some addition to your profile??!! I love your sense of humor and writing style, but know nothing about you! As for the clothes, listen to the rest of the posts and go get them!! You deserve to show off all that hard work.
