Anyone else notice this?

Hi everyone..... I was just wondering if anyone else seems to have the same weird problem as me? Since surgery I have noticed when I eat my tongue hurts. (Burns) It is almost like I have ittle cuts on my tongue. There isn't any that I can see... it doesn't matter what I am eating it mostly always burns. I can be eating crunchy food or soft foods. I also noticed that any mildly spicy food really hurts my mouth. I used to me able to eat medium spice without difficulty but not now. ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

I only have that sensation with pineapple and sunflower seeds. i was told that it is a mild allergy to those items.

How bizaar...I first noticed it with Pineapple and now it is with mostly everything. At first I thought it was a citrus thing but now seems to be more food items. I notice it with chicken, or cantaloup, or the 100 cal packs of chips ahoy or just about anything. Strange huh? ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

I don't have that anymore, but did pre-surgery, I think due to diabetes. Spicy food would really bother it. Now it has gone away, but that shouldn't be what your problem is. Karla

I don't have that issue but I was wondering, have you asked your doctor about it?
