EXPLAIN THIS?
Good morning all, well yesterday I weighed myself and gained 1.5 lbs. How you say I don't know. I walked 2 miles everyday, 4 on Sunday and total of 16 miles last week! I ate what I was supposed to. I even went to the gym 2 days last week. Why does this happen? One thing I can say is I have not been going pee as much. I drink lots, tons of water and my protein? Any reason why I did not lose any weight? The week before last I lost 6 lbs. and did not exercise but 3 miles? I am so confused and bummed.
Last week 307
This week 308.5
Gained 1.5

Norma:
You are gaining heavier muscle weight...and that is a good thing! Plus...losing 6 lbs in one week, at this point, is a LOT! Your body is just leveling itself out.
Don't worry (like I am one to talk, I know)...but those extra lbs will come off when all that new muscle starts really burning the fat away!
Hugs,
Jersey
No, Jen check this out, the week I lost 6 lbs. I was on my period, and did not exercise but about 3 miles week total. This week I worked my butt off and gained. I think Jersey you are right, it has to be muscle. Maybe I am eating way too much salt, people are telling me it is muscle gain. Let us see what comes next week. I am not going to stop exercising. I am going to also cut out the salt. I am a salt shaker on food without even trying it first. Bad habit I am sure.
I bet it is either water gain or muscle gain. Try not to worry. It will come off...eventually. Just remember we didn't gain all this weight overnight and we will not lose it over night. Think how much you lost since you started..Keep up the good work and it will pass I promise.
~~hugs and well wishes~~

Norma,
Please try not to panic at the plus 1.5 lbs. It will all roll off in the next few weeks. That happened to me two weeks ago, I had a loss then I gained back 2 lbs. and it hung on for a few days even though I upped my exercise, water, protein, etc. Could be muscle or since we are working out more our bodies could be reacting by hanging onto whatever it can at the moment until it adjusts. Don't worry you will continue to lose!
