I Reached a Mini-Goals, Finally
On July 10, over 2 months ago, when I got to -100 lbs., I set my next mini-goal, which was to get to 211. That is the lowest weight I remember getting to when I was going to Weigh****chers 9 years ago. I finally made it today. The weight loss has been steady, just 2-3 lbs. per week, but other than a couple of rough weeks the first of August, has continued.
Today, I finally got to 211. Unfortunately, the weight isn't distributed the same as it was then. It's all around the middle section. Giant gut in the front and a "shelf" around the top of the hips in the back. Everywhere else is in good shape, just really sagging and hanging. I just gird it all up everyday.
My next mini-goal is to get to onederland. Only 11 more pounds to go. I don't know how long it has been since I was in the 100's, but it's been a long, long time. I hope to be in onederland by my birthday on October 26. That would be a great present to myself. I think I can do 11 pounds in 5 weeks. Hopefully I won't stall out before then.
I had a friend ask when I would be at goal. I told her you can't really predict, because even though my loss has been pretty steady, a stall could hit any time. I kind of set my sites on mid-spring to early summer, but would be thrilled if it happened before then.

Way to go Karla! Congrats on reching your goal of 211-its great to have those mini goals to keep you going, I do the same thing on my calender at the beginning of each month in the Things to do section and it really keeps me inspired : ) And I know what you mean as far as were the weight is distributed these days-I carry my largest load in my middle as well-I HATE the roll above my waist! I wear those high waist compression panties to smooth it out but its not gone 100%, I just told my husband today that I hope my stomach continues to shrink and I am hoping its not just skin !
