I am leaving on Thursday for six days of "vacation". I am going to the middle of nowhere (where I went to college). I am super excited to see my friends, but there won't be much food selection, so I plan to pack a lot with me. How should I take my protein powder? In individual scoops in baggies or just the whole dark canister? Also, I will die if they don't have CC milk there... is it easy to get in non-big cities? They do have a whole foods, am I more likely to find it there? Also, can you suggest any other things to eat that I can pack? I plan on bringing tuna and crystal light to go as well... what else? (I don't eat red meat) THANKS! Mary

Hope you have a wonderful vacation Mary When I went to Houston, I took protein powder in ziplock bags. I put one scoop in each and it made an easy "grab and go". wasn't able to find CC milk there however. So I had to use 1%. I also took Luna Bars, crystal lite to go, string cheese and yougurt. I had a small insulated bag that I kept in the car. These were all easy to get to while driving.

AchieveOne cappucino drinks come in handy so you don't have to pack and mix protein shakes. Also, the protein in a tube such as New Whey are handy, because you can eat what you can of food around and supplement. Nuts make good snacks and protein bars are good for traveling, too. Karla 337/202/150

Hey Mary: I hope you have a WONDERFUL time on vacation!! Are you flying? If so, I would be careful about putting white powder in ziplock baggies! What is CC milk, by the way? Have a great trip! Jersey

CC Milk iw Hood's Calorie Control Milk. It has reduced sugar and less carbs than regular milk. It even comes in chocolate milk that I use to make my shakes Very good for keeping the carbs down and it tastes really good too.

Hey...thanks, Ronna! Where can I find it? Since WLS, I have trouble with milk...it makes me a little sick. But I miss it! Other dairy doesn't...which is odd. Maybe I will try this! Have a great day! Jersey

I've had trouble finding the CC milk lately. They carry it at Super WalMart but there isn't one near me. I have to take a road trip to buy this, but I like it so much it is worth it
