On the BMI scales I'm still friggin' overweight! I'm 5'5.5 and hanging at around 170 lbs. (on a good day!) and my BMI is still about 28.2 which is moderately overweight. I mean, I wear medium shirts and size 10 pants...I think that's pretty damn good. I'd like to lose another 10 lbs., but if I don't then it's okay. If I lose anymore than that I'll look like I'm on crack! Lol....i've already been told that about how i look now. I'm actually happy about the way I look. I got curves in all the right places. But can I have a normal BMI??? April

Hey Chickie: Doesn't it suck that we can't have it all!?! My BMI is 26.3 (I'm 5'10")...still overweight. Actually, I took an online health assessment at work today (for an insurance discount) and, when they gave me my evaluation they said, "Your BMI is 26.3...which puts you in the overweight category." Then they said, "You may be surprised that you are considered overweight." That comment made me laugh aloud (of course, the computer does not know what I have been through these past 8 months and that I would be FAR more surprised if I WASN'T in the overweight category!!! ). If you are happy with the way you look, then screw the numbers! It is all about how you feel! You look AMAZING, by the way! Hugs, Jersey

Thanks Jersey. Yeah, I've come to realize that the numbers DO lie! But I am quite happy with the way I look now. I think if I was in the "normal" range, I wouldn't like the way I looked. I think many of us look at the numbers to make us happy when honestly it's kind of a lie to us. So, you're right...it's about how you feel. So, thanks!!! April
