Hi everyone...today was pretty sunny and slightly cold but not to bad. I went and helped my brother list some things on ebay and that was probably it. My husband called my cell while I was out to tell me we blew a fuse or something....(we had my livingroom ceiling done in June by my husband and brother and had new lights put in) anyway we have been having trouble off and on with our lights since. Last night the lights went out but we changed the fuses and nothing happened so we waited until daylight to see what we could figure out...None of the center room lights work except my bedroom light...all the plugs work though.....My husband dcided to take a look at the fixture where the livingroom light is and when he took it down the ceiling was all charred and blackened. There must have been a smoldering fire there and when the lights blew it must have gone out on it's own. I guess you can say GOD was looking out for us because it could have been really really bad. Needless to say we have to get an electrician in to help us out. We are all safe and it's only money right. I am just thankful nothing to bad happened. I will be heading out shortly to take my son to the doctors for a routine visit but then thasts it. Maybe I will wrap more presents. So what did you do today? Anything fun? Oh yeah... I became an aunt again... Introducing Aiden Alec David Smedly this is my neices first baby... http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g294/LadyBugMom87/12-18-06_1952.jpg ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

Well Great-Aunt Chris, what a cutiepie Boy were you all lucky that you didn't have a fire. Someone was looking out for you I've had a lazy day. My sister uses my truck on Tuesday's so I'm stuck at home. But at least it was nice out today. Cold but sunny. So the doggie and I had 2 nice long walks. I am trying to go a little further everyday and I have really accomplished alot in a short time. Other than that, been packing up some things that I have to send out to my ebay buyers. I'm almost our of things to sell. I'm considering selling my electric lift chair. I really don't need it anymore. But I do like the heat feature. I'm always so cold and it feels good to put the heat on. But I don't need it to lift me into a standing position anymore and it's so big. But don't know if I'll get any takers. I looked on EBAY and they have many listed and most don't have any bids. Maybe after the holidays. Anyway, have a great evening. Sending hugs, Ronna

Sorry to hear about your ceiling/lights. Glad you caught it in time. At least you can fix it. Ronna, your new avatar is great. What a change from July when I saw you in person. You look wonderful! Karla

I am so glad that the fire didn't catch completely and you and your loved ones are okay. God is so good. He certainly looks out for us. My day was Christmas, bah humbug. I spent the morning wrapping packages. I hate that job. Then the guys came and cleaned the hood and vents in the kitchen. After that I had to go help change Frostie's wound vac. That is on the right leg, not the one that was amputated. This is the one they removed the blood clot from in September. When they amputated the left leg, they also went in and cut out all the dead muscle out of the wound on the right leg. It looks great. It finally looks like it is healing. Praise God. Then I went to town and finished Frostie's and my Christmas shopping, and bought the groceries for Christmas weekend. When I got home we went to get something to eat and then spent some time with Frostie. That just about makes up my day. Talk at ya all later. Hazel

Hi Chris, I finally got my Christmas cards done and put away 7 baskets of laundry. With the 5 or 6 kids here I just do not get much accomplished. Goal for tomorrow is to decorate the tree! It's up, has prestrung lights and two ornaments we made the other day. Gotta get moving. And AAAAAAWWWWWWW, the baby, congrats!!!!! I just cannot wait for mine! God Bless! Jen and miracle #2
