anyone not sleeping at night now??

Just popping in to see if I am the only januarian losing sleep every night in fear and anticipation of surgery date, I have a feeling I may not be alone. I have been crying a lot lately too, over stupid things, my emotions are all outa wack!!!! ps JANUARY 6th

Hi Lora! I have been in touch with someone who is from Toronto and coming to NYC for her surgery! 3 Canadians on this board so far!! I know how you feel..I promise it gets better. You have to put it into perspective. I got out all of my crying and panic (I hope!) Now I am mostly excited now. We'll see by Tuesday! I am taking 2 Tylenol PM's every night before bed. It helps!! I haven't been able to sleep all week. My date is January 4, 2006 and I'm feeling kind of numb. I have been feeling really emotional lately too. I'm kind of scared too. I have decided to tell my family about my surgery after all and I think that will help calm me down a bit. I have been having the weirdest dreams when I sleep too.

I hear you sister....my date is January 3rd so tomorrow is my last day to eat. I wake up in the middle of the night and it is the first thing that comes to my mind....I am nervous but excited, scared but happy, emotional but also determined....weird!!! Before you know it we will be through the procedure and on the losing side. Keep the faith! Colleen
