The last meal...

My surgery is on the 24th so Mom called me at the beginning of the week and asked me if I wanted to come over this evening for dinner. We were supposed to go out but we are eating in instead. She will be making a Turkey Dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing, the works. My parents are the two most wonderful people and I love them so much. God truly blessed me with the greatest and the older I get the more I see it.

I probably should have had my last earlier, but last weekend was some drinks with friends (okay, many drinks and a few shots) and tonight is my favorite~ King Buffet. Time to say goodbye to the unhealthy way I've been living and start a new! Lisa

Garlic, ginger, vitamin e, advil/ibuprofin/alleve are all blood thinners and make it harder to heal, increase the risk of internal bleeding. Also ginkoba, ginsing. I;ve been asked about it a few times when having tests - esp the EGD - and its a firm rule of my surgeon. That's why Tylenol is the drug of choice. Hey, if it helps me heal better with less risk, I'm going with it.
