45 Minutes!
To drink 6 oz. of a protein shake. LOL! I'm simply blown away. But hey! Thats 30 grams of protein in, good way to start the day. I was going to name my pouch "Polly" (Polly wanna cracker?) but I'm starting to think I should name her turtle.
Wanted to keep you all updated on my new little adventures!
Hugs,
Beth
I bought the Unjury shakes. Not too bad! They are better mixed with milk (I bought the lactaid milk) but I'm not brave enough to try dairy yet so I just mixed it with water. The chocolate is actually pretty close in taste to real chocolate! I also have the strawberry and unflavored.
I am feeling so much better today - I think I have got past most of the gas. I am up for a few hours and then nap for about one and then up and about again.
Hugs,
Beth
Lol! I am so with you on the throwing up - I did it once in the hospital after the leak test and it was miserable! But the only thing that food has done since is make me burp, so far so good. I am more worried when I start adding in real food at 6 weeks. Thats when russian roulette starts!
Hugs,
Beth
Way to go!!! Wow 45 min I hope I can stand it after my surgery on 1/16 Ugh
Just a thought since it takes so long--I dont know about you but Ilike my protein shakes really cold--since it takes 45 mins obviously it will start to warm a bit so I bought one of those mugs with the liquid inside-the one that you put in the freezer and the liquid freezes so when you pour your shake in it stays cold alot longer--just an idea
Take car and i look forward to reading more posts re your journey since mine begins in 9 days
