I have been going to classes for this surgery for well over a year. I all of a sudden feel like I'm not prepared. It's like I don't remember what I'm supposed to do after the surgery as far as vitamins and such. Is this normal and do they go over it again with you while in the hospital? I know it sounds like I haven't done my "homework" but really I have. I think the stress of everything is making me feel like I'm spinning. Thanks Amy

I got like a book of pages of what to do. I think your Dr. will do it too. Have you had your pre-op? they may give it to you then. That is when I got mine. Heather

My doc gave me a binder with all sorts of post op stuff including meals vitamins, etc. Which is good because I never can remember what all I am supposed to do. I refer to it often! Its a lot of information and since surgery is stressful I think our brains just shut down at some point - overload! Take a deep breath! You will be fine Hugs, Beth

Hi Amy!! Hmmm...wonder if these feelings have anything to with the fact that you only have 13 DAYS TILL SURGERY!!!! Yipee!! Woo Hooo!! I'm 5 days away and have been going through an emotional roller coaster. From self doubt to crying jags, to fear, and even cold feet!! I'm convinced that this is normal and part of the process. You will be fine. Don't doubt yourself. Calm down and try to relax. Debbie - working hard to follow my own advice
