Thank you to everyone who wished me well... but lets get on the horn to God people... let's ask for the pain to go away, NOW! No one ever tells the preops the truth about the pain... OMG!!! When I get back I'm writing a whole novel on pain!!! Believe it or not the morphine wasn't a help because it was in a noisy atmosphere. I couldn't fully enjoy it. The Loritab is awesome!! Best sleeping pain med ever!!! When can I expect the pain to go away??? I think I have a little more pain because of the hernia... Thank you all for being there for me!!! When I feel better, I'll get back on again. ::hugs:: ouch! Cyndi

Cyndi, Did you have open or lap? I am so sorry you are hurting so bad! I did not have that much pain (the gas pain was/is the worse for me!) All I can suggest is keep walking and don't be afraid to use those pain meds when you need to. Hugs! Hope you feel better soon hon! Beth

Cyndi, I promise It will get better. My Lap RNY was 6 days ago. I'm feeling much better and not using any pain meds during the day. The gas is the worst but after day 4 it was all gone. Last night I only took 1/2 a Percocet to get to sleep. I know it hurts but walking helps release the gas. Feel better soon! Robin

Hang in there Cyndi. Thanks for being honest about the pain. That really scares me since I am a wussy when it comes to pain. I do hope you feel better soon. Big Hug, Rosa

Cyndi, Sorry to hear you're in so much pain. Did they use one of those rubber band drains to help whisk away the gas? Keep taking your pain meds and don't hesitate to ask you family and friends for help. That's what they're there for. And, keep in touch here. Sometimes it helps just to be able to vent your frustrations! Take care. Lisa
