I'm home from my preop tests and what a relief. I was so worked up over this apt. Come to find out I've lost another three pounds for a total of 14 pounds. I'll be happy when all of this is over and I can focus on a new life. Thanks to everyone for the support. I'd like to wish you all a safe and speedy recovery. Amy

Hi Amy: It realy seems like a long road, doesn't it. I have my final EKG, blood work, chest exray and a consult with the anthes. on 1/16 and my surgery is scheduled on 1/20. I told my husband no wonder so many people give up. but I am not one who gives up. When is your surgery scheduled? Hang in there!
