I feel pretty decent. Although for some reason I feel sick when I first wake up. I am worried though. I am able to tolerate everything I have tried so far. I know some would see this as a blessing, but I worry I'm broke or something. lol I know it sounds silly, but I can't help but wonder whats going on. I haven't tried anything that is not on my approved list, but I figured I would have some issues at first. Sigh. I hope this doesn't mean I am going to have trouble losing weight. Elizabeth

Sounds like it's just an adjustment period. Some people feel a little sick when they wake up anyway, so it's probably just you're body reminding you to get something small on your stomach. It's not a terrible thing that you are tolerating foods well, just discipline yourself so that 1 or 2 years out, you don't begin to gain again. Good Luck, glad to hear it went well.

Elizabeth, I am worried for the same reason. I had Open RNY and I have been also scared because I have had no problems with anything. I had a small slurpee from 7-11 with no dumping at all-nothing. I also am able to eat larger portions than I thought would be possible. It's scary, because I am limiting it and self control is obvioulsy not a real strong point of mine. I am making better choices. I have tried to ask questions about this, but haven't gotten real straight answers. Doc says "eat until you are comfortably full" they do not suggest measuring. I have to stop, because of fear, not because I am feeling full. I go in on tuesday and will discuss this further with my follow up, but I'd love to get some insight here too. Lisa
