Where are we all from....love to have a January reunion?????

Hey everyone, I know this is really crazy and off the wall and we are all thinking of our surgeries right know. But wouldnt it be great to be able to meet everyone or that one person that helped us along the way. It would be a mini-goal in 6 months for something new to look forward too. January came and is going so fast that July would be right around the corner. I am willing to travel and I know that some people dont have the funds. I just thought that I could throw this out there and If you are excited as me to meet all my new online friends that have been there when we needed each other the most please let me know. Hi Tina! GREAT idea!!! I know there is a WLS conference in Califronia in June. I was planning on going to that. I am up for a meeting! I have 2 small kids, so babysitting is always the issue (DH works long hours). If I have notice, I am usually good to go. Christina

Great!!! I hope that we can get enough of us together and just have fun. CA is too far for me to go...so I would like to meet somewhere on the east coast side. It looks like alot of us are from this side with a few from Ca and TX. (If I am forgetting someone Im sorry) Maybe VA would be a good place. We will see if we get enough responses. Hi Jaci! In June there is a WLS conference for all surgeons. A bunch of people were thinking of going so we could have a conference of our own. Someone was thinking of asking some to guest speak etc.... I haven't heard anything about it for a few months. I will post it if I get any details. Christina

I think it would be awesome to get together... but I'm low on funds at the moment, dunno about July! I'm a student, so you probably understand BUT, I show rabbits all over the country and might be going to Texas in October for the National show, still weighing the options. *~*Jaci*~*

Hey everyone! A national conference is being planned for October in Lexington. Kentucky is relatively accessible from almost the entire eastern and middle of the country. It's usually still very nice here during October--weather wise and indian summer is in full swing. How 'bout coming here and celebrating the "Blue moon of Kentucky"? DeAnna

Tina, I think that would be a great idea. I'm in NY but willing to travel anywhere in the USA. A weight lose conference would be great to attend. Keep in informed I'd help with the planning if you need it. Thanks, Carly

I'd love to come, I'm in Illinois, and all my vacation/sick/personal days will probably be used for the surgery so I am not sure it is realistic for me...Unless it is close....But good idea!!!!
