Prayers for Elma Please!!!

Please say some healing prayers for Elma M from Gilroy, she had RNY on Thursday about Noon, Thursday night they gave her stage 1 liquid, Friday am they gave her stage 2 and told her she needed to eat all of it so they knew she was ok. but this was too much food at that time and she was not feeling well after that. I told her take less and see how you feel after that. well then Friday night came her 1st BM and she had blood in it and two more, they called the docotor and now she is in ICU and has internal bleeding that they told her mom only happens in a few patients and her two young kids and family as so scared!!!!! Please Pray she will be ok and now they are giving her a blood transfusion that will take 10 hours to complete and told her after that they will go in and hope it is comming from the pouch and not the intesten. I will keep you posted as I find out more! I am saying a few prays for Elma, I just cant belive they are making her eat!!! I did not have anything for two days after surgery and on the second day when I did I only had water 5 ounces. My surgery was on monday and I just today sarted my stage1 and will not start stage 2 for another3-4 weeks. I pray she will be ok And I also pray for her family!!!! Tara

Thanks Tara, good luck to you too! I had mine on the 4th and was in the hospital only 2 days and was on stage 1 for 3 days then stage 2 where I am now and doing good. God Bless! Carolyn

Carolyn, thanks for the update and I will certainly think good thoughts for her. Did they do a leak test on her before they gave her the food? I would think if they did that they would see if it was coming from the pouch. Please keep us updated. Lisa
