"Sweet 16"ers, How many have to do a bowel prep??

I have to have a clear liquid diet on Sunday, plus I have to do the bowel prep on Sunday afternoon. That doesn't make for a very pleasent Sunday, and it will be a very early Monday with having to be at the hsp. by 5am Enjoy your weekend and we will all be on the loosing side by Monday evening!! My surgery is on Monday. I need to stop eating at 6 pm tomorrow and nothing but clear liquids up until midnight tomorrow night. The doctor requested I eat reasonably the last day. I'm planning on making potato pancakes at about 4pm as my last meal. I think they are very mild on the stomach and intestines. Thankfully my surgery is at 10 am so I won't be too starving the next day. Boy I'll miss my cup of tea in the morning though! Good luck with your bowel prep and surgery. Sharon

Sweet sixteen, hadn't thought of it that way. I guess the day will be a sweet one that we will always remember. I am right along with you with the Sunday of "fun." I was told to have clear liquids all day - but I do the bowel prep in the AM. May God Bless and keep all of us Sweet Sixteeners!

Patty, I have two little one-ounce cups of milk-of-magnesia that I am supposed to take tomorrow at noon. I am also on a clear liquid diet tomorrow. I was going to have a big blow-out dinner tonight, but just don't feel like going out anywhere. Besides, I have to work the graveyard shift tonight and need to get a little rest before I go to work.
