I finally got to come home today after having an uneventful surgery 1/9. All had went well, other then the fact I thought I would die from the pain Monday. I stayed drugged up that entire night. By midnight I was walking. Still very stiff and I was miserable. Tuesday I was still using the drugs and was stay nausous (sp). So I gave up the morphine and started feeling better. Wednesday came the fever. Lucky me! Thursday still running fever. Doctors starts running tons of test. Found nothing, oh wait. My lower lungs had colasped. Friday fever. Saturday fever. But by this point I was going home no matter what. I feel almost human again But I wont lie to you guys.........Im still asking myself why I did this. It has been harder then I ever imagined. And I know its going to get harder. OHHHHHHH and did I mention the GAS? Its a killer! hoping everyone is doing well, kristi

I really feel for you. I came home yesterday, Actually about 12 hrs ago. not the happiest, but could be alot worse. I had to of the worse nightmares ever after taking the Lortab tablets. I don't think my body likes them without all those other meds being pumped through. Pain isn't a huge issue.. My sense of smell is driving me crazy though. Everything smells awful. Of course I can't find a lighter or match to light a nice vanilla candle without waking everying up. MY ow BM smelled disgusting. SOrry, TMI.
