Rebecca, I am so excited as well...the time is going fast! Hopefully it will continue to. This weekend we had company for the day yesterday, and we have an extra 4 year old since Wendsday afternoon, so I have been busy, busy. Today I have to take him back to his house, Re-straighten up my room/closet, and the Steeler's are playing, so today will buzz by. What else do you have to do yet? I still have to get a haircut! I didn't have time this weekend, will have to do it while the boys are in school. I actually am caught up with my laundry, miracles, do occur. I might have a load or two to do today. Oh, and I am going to make up snack bags for the boys for school, one less thing for my Nana to do. Nicole

Ya know, I just don't see that I have to do much of anything else in preparation for my surgery in terms of anything that doesn't have to do with me. Meaning, I can bust my butt cleaning my 6 year old's room but it will become demolished again anyway. Laundry is an everyday occurance around here. I did clean and organize kitchen cabinets and while it's nice to have that done, I really didn't *have* to. I figure the rest of my intense cleaning will be in the Spring (the real spring, not this unusual spring-type weather we have had as of late!). Meals: We went to Costco and between frozen and fresh/frozen, DH has it covered. Plus, he is an awesome cook and knows his way around the kitchen. Schedule...it's on the calendar as it always is. This week is devoted for the most part, on me in mentally and physically preparing for surgery. Yes, I will do what I always do (umpteen loads of laundry, normal cleaning and probably a deep house cleaning next weekend), but other than that, it's protein shakes, vitamins, lots of water and rest. I just wish time would fly faster so that I could get in and get it over with...and be on the losing side. Chele

Chele, What are you doing with all your babes while you are in? Is your husband going to be home? Mine unfortunately is a supervisor and of course the whole department would shut down with out him so he is only taking Monday off. My dad and Nana live right next door..about 100 feet away, so they are gonna get the kids ready for school and all that fun stuff. Your day sounds like mine, clean, more cleaning. and of course laundry. Can I ask what type of washing machine you have? Mine is a Ge, but supposed to be XL capacity, but doesn't clean if you fill it too full. I'm looking for a new one, but not sure of what is actually worth the boocoo bucks they want for them. Nicole

Nicole, My DH is taking the week off to be with the kids. He can telecommute if he is truly needed for something. I also have a very good friend who is willing to help out...and I'll take her up on that offer, probably during the second week when DH is back at work. My washer and drier are both Frigidaire. It's also supposed to be a large capacity, but I have seen larger ones. I would love one of those super-duper front loaders with the massive capacity! I'm thinking it would make my life so much easier. Chele

Glad to see that you all are so excited. I hope that after reading some of it rubs off on me. That "scared mama" is setting in...scared of the potential risks and for my precious babies. I am telling myself to stop this nonsense, walking out the front door is not a guarantee. I've worked myself into such a "frenzy" that I feel like my odds are .1 percent of "living" rather than the .1 percent of the bad risk. Isn't that craziness? Someone talk some sense into me!!!

It must be normal for the week before because I am having a breakdown too. I just want to wake up from surgery and get on with my life. Deborah

Anyone else sleeping less? My sleep patterns are all thrown off! I'm still sleeping, but weird hours. Nicole
