Back again...
I weighed before I went to the hospital but not since. I know my weight will be up due to swelling and all the liquids they pumped into my veins. So there is no sense in weighing and being disappointed in spite of what I already know. Does that make sense? When I go back for my 1st check up, I'll weigh then.
Besides, Miss Piggy (my personal hero) says that scales don't tell the truth because the first time you step on them, you bend the little dodads inside and it never weighs right again. (She also says to never eat more than you can lift at one time. )
