Back again...

I had my surgery on the 10th and I'm back again. Everything went better than I expected. Very little pain, no nausea. I'm sleeping in my recliner but then I did this a lot before the surgery too. It helped my breathing. As soon as I get this tube out of me, I'm good to go. Mary P

Mary, Glad you are doing well. Did you hop on the scale yet? I know I will be doing that as soon as I get home. Well right after I say hello to all my little ones and walk down the long hall to get to the scale. Nicole

I weighed before I went to the hospital but not since. I know my weight will be up due to swelling and all the liquids they pumped into my veins. So there is no sense in weighing and being disappointed in spite of what I already know. Does that make sense? When I go back for my 1st check up, I'll weigh then. Besides, Miss Piggy (my personal hero) says that scales don't tell the truth because the first time you step on them, you bend the little dodads inside and it never weighs right again. (She also says to never eat more than you can lift at one time. )

welcome back i wish i could say a little pain but can't. they sent you home with the drain? they removed mine the day i was going home. just to let you know you don't feel a thing when they remove it get well soon dave

Dave, My daughter says mine is a timer and when it pops up, I'm done. The thingy with the bulb end was removed but not the plastic one. Mary P
