How are your liquid diets going???

I officially started my full liquids yesterday. And I made it through the whole day!!yipee! Get this I weighed in this morning, and I am back down to 215...I lost 3 pounds from 2 days ago! Whoohoo. I also just got over you know what, so I'm sure that helped, but whatever, the scale still moved. Nicole Saying prayers for all our brothers and sisters having surgery!!! God Bless all !

I start mine officially tomorrow, but I'm going to do soft liquids today to get used to it. I'm not looking forward to it, but it's all for the greater good. Amy

I started mine yesterday. Its going ok. I am going thru major caffiene withdrawl and getting migraines from not eating. Other than that I am doing fine. Congrats on your loss of 3 pounds Nichole!!! -Sue 2 days left!!!

I've been loosing since my intitial consult with the surgeon in November. I was down 28 Lbs until this last wekend. Well I kind of blew it and grazed my way through the weekend. I put 4 lbs back on...... Anyway, today is a new day and I'm back to liquids only until the BIG DAY! Roger

I think that I may be the only one in history of WLS that has ever gained weight on a liquid diet.... I have been really good, well.. for the most part... I will tell you that I have really seen how much I have used food for comfort all of my life. But I am bound and determined to do this and succeed! 5 days to go!!!! I have my pre-op on Thursday so I will let you know what the scale says... I just have to remember that aunt flo is around the corner as well as I am coming off of all my meds (water pill and prozac) so I am retaining water on top of all of this liquid.... that makes sense, right? or am I nuts???

Finishing up day one!!!! Thank goodness I only have to do this tomorrow. I'll be in surgery Thursday morning and then it will all be worth it. Once I got past the hunger headache, I've been fine, but it really sticks at first.

Boy, some of you had it "easy"! My doc requires 10 days of "low sugar liquid" diet to shrink the liver to make it easier for it to be a lap procedure. I'm completing day 2. I had headaches yesterday--I'm sure withdrawal from sugar. It's still nagging today, but not as bad. When I left the doc's office yesterday he told me "It's called hell-week for a reason." And that I should blame it on Dr. B--the other doc in the practice! I just told him that I am only looking forward. Forward to feeling healthy. Forward to sexy lingerie. Forward to a better life! It really is exciting to me right now. I guess the liquid diet makes me realize how close I am to surgery. Can't wait to begin my journey. My best to everyone!! Maggie 322now 150goal
