Where did all these clothes come from!?
Well, before my surgery I decided to clean my room and wash all the clothes I had- wether I wore them or not. Last week I started putting them all away and wow! I didn't know I so many pieces of clothing! My dresser is stuffed and my closet is on its way, I still have two loads that need to get in my room some how. The weird thing is that I haven't worn 90% of those clothes in the last two years! I was looking at the sizes and all are 26/28. I'm a 26/28 now, but as you know not all clothes are made the same or look great on ya. I can't wait to wear these clothes again, I should be set for *hopefully* a couple of months lol. When I am no longer in 26/28 I am going to be in HUGE trouble! I have nothing else!!! I just had to let you all know how excited I am! You will be too when you don't wear those anymore! LOL Whoopppeeee!

Hi Jaci,
I did the same thing and realized that I kept buying clothes to accommodate the size of the day. Like you my closet and drawers are stuffed and I have nothing to wear. A girlfriend was here in my first recovery days and decided it all needed organization. My closet is now just what I can wear and then the next two sizes are on a new clothing rack in my basement so I can easily try them on as I move thru that size group.
When I told my ex about the surgery he laughed and commented that maybe I'd get rid of the 10 boxes of clothes from when I was thin...so I have lots to go thru on the way down. We also did a purge, anything I would not wear out to dinner or work was tossed.
Overall, I'll soon be thru all of them and look forward to having one wardrobe and just clothes that I wear and look good in.

Jaci...
I have the opposite, I didn't have much and wore the same things each week and can't wait to never see them again. I think they have been worn so many times they are ready to just get up and walk out to the good will bin. I am worried that I don't have anything smaller and as soon as I start loosing ummmmmm what will I wear? I will cross that bridge soon enough. Take care and happy shopping for new things.
