Posting from the hospital

Hi Y'all!! I had a good day yesterday, up till about 7pm, then I stared running a fever, had problem urinating, had to get the catherter put back in, had a coughing spell while siting on the toilet with NO pillow with me, caused incision to bleed pretty bad, and had a panic attack. Today Dr. H had me started back on my andti-depressant and anti-panac meds. Doing better than last night, but not as good as yesterday afternoon!! Sitting up in a chair, typing is slow going. Vision is not bac to normal yet, still a little out of focus. Thanks for all the prayers, good wishes and kind thoughts. Patty

Patty, My prayers go out to you for a quick recovery and no more complications. Once you get home I am sure things will be much more comfortable for you. I am so sorry you had the whole "Bathroom experience" that can really hurt. I too had a fit without the pillow and it can really hurt. I am glad you are feeling better. Patty, I'm so sorry to hear about you bumps in the road. Don't push yourself and take it easy. Thankfully you're in the best place to handle some of these small things, so let them take care of you. Glad you're able to post from the hospital. Keep us updated. And, I'm definitely thinking good thoughts. Lisa

I heard it several times in the hospital, and it is VERY true... things really do get better each and every day. Pay attention to every little milestone and give yourself credit for them. I'll keep you in my prayers. Sandy L
