123 losers...3 days..16 hours(for me anyway)

It is 3 days, 16 hours, 44 minutes and 27 seconds until January 23, 2006, at 6:00:00 AM Wow, this is craziness! My house seems to be getting dirtier by the minute! I didn't get a phone call about my son's blood work yet. Hopefully that is a good sign. I am starting my 4th day of full liquid...I have to say it is getting easier. I weighed myself naked before my shower this AM and I was 212!! Whohoo! Love ya all, Thanks for the support! Nicole

Hi 123 Losers. Hey, how many of us are there now? Maybe we can all post on this thread...I'm curious! DH and I are going out tonight...alone! No kids! It's going to be my last "hurrah" so I'm trying to decide where I want to go to eat. Tomorrow, it's eating light. Saturday, full liquids. Sunday, clear liquids. Chele

Hi fellow 123 losers, I had my pre op yesterday and it went pretty well. But, I am still awaiting the approval from my insurance company (I can not believe this!). They know the date is Monday but my surgeon said that is pretty common. Well, I have been on a liquid diet (somewhat). I have protein shakes all day (80-100g) and then for dinner I'll have a meat and a veg. (no soda, nothing with sugar and no starches). So far so good, I have lost 20 pounds since October Well, once I hear from the insurance company I will know for sure. Then I will be an official 123 loser! ~Dawn

Oh, how I love the dancing guy! I so want Monday to be here! I didn't think I'd been nervous about the surgery but last night I had my first dream where I was afraid. The subconscious is a weird thing. I really am feeling very positive and am looking forward to my new life. Congratulations to all of us for a brave decision and for having the courage to change our lives! Jen

i still don't have a time, but they're calling me tomorrow. i got a little scare today when i got a call from the surgeons office saying my pcp didn't send in a recent physical, but after calling my pcp for an hour (extra long lunch break!) i finally got an answer. my pcp works at the hospital i'm having the surgery at and he 'dictated it into the system yesterday.' i called and told the surgeons office that, and it was no problem! woo! thought i'd have to hustle my butt into the dr. office for a lame physical. haven't had any cheese for 2 days to make the bowel prep a little easier. i almost had second doubts today when i was going over all the information for about the 1000 time. now i'm doing everything that i need to do that i probably won't feel like doing after surgery. speaking of, i've got to wash this dye out of my hair!

Hey Guys.... I hate to do this, but I am having to drop out of the 123 losers club. I have the flu and am having to reschedule the surgery. I will be having it now on Jan 30. But I will be praying for you guys on Monday!!! Hugs, Dianne

Hi 123 losers group! I got a call from one of the nurses at the surgery center and she did a health survey in preparation for monday. It's all becoming more real each day. Last day at work tomorrow and i have too much work to do and not enough time. My house too seems like it's getting dirtier by the second! These last few days i have found myself online, reading everyone's posts, trying to get in the last few bits of good advice before the big day; and have been neglecting everything else. I definitely have to clean tomorrow; i don't want to come home to a dirty house, especially since i won't be able to move easily, let a lone feel like cleanin. I'll be staying at a hotel till the next monday (my postop appt)next to the surgery center after i check out of the hospital, and then i'll come home. It's just me, so hopefully things wont' be too difficult, if so I'll go to my parents house. I've also been eating everything i can get my hands on before sunday. Starting sunday, it's clear liquids only. Let's get through these last few days together until we are on the other side! I enjoy reading all of your posts, they really help.

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooo my fellow 123 losers!!!!!! As if you can't tell, I'm so excited!!! I got up this morning with a running list in my head of all the things I need to get done. I told my daughter on the way to school she could tell all her friends her mom's a loser! HA! What a truly delightful word that has become, LOSER.
