Is this really HAPPENING????

five more days.......and a ton of things to do to get ready......I can't believe more than 7 months ago, I had a date of Jan 30th, and it's already here.....

Dear Ann, I know EXACTLY how you feel! I, too, had to wait a long time for my surgery date to arrive after having been told in August that it would be on January 16th. Fortunaltely, I worked a LOT, so that helped pass the time. And as far as your title "Is this really Happening?" ...... I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, like someone was going to jump out and say "Psyche! We were just kidding! You're not REALLY going to have the surgery!" Then, come the day of the actual surgery...... I didn't really believe it until I was coming out of the anesthesia and they told me everything had gone fine. It's now been 9 days since my surgery and I'm doing far better than I thought I would and already down more than 13 pounds! Good luck to you.... your surgery is on my youngest daughter's birthday (my baby will be TWENTY!) ~Teri~
