I'm Back Home

Got home yesterday, could not set at the computer. Had a shower and spent the rest of the day sipping. I'm on clear liquids for a week, getting down as much as I can. Surgery took 5 hours! I had a lot of adhesions from other surgeries, but Doctor said he was determined to not do a open on me. Thank goodness. I feel better when I wear my binder and have not had any nausea at all. Just sore and bruised everywhere, but happy that is is all over with. Thanks for all of the support! Rebecca

Rebecca, Welcome home! 5 hours??? wow! My open RNY was 45 mins and he removed my gallbladder My surgeon has done WLS over 3,000 times for over 20 years, I was shocked to hear 45 mins. Lisa
