Anyone have problem with this ?

I am having left shoulder pain, intense. I think I remember someone saying it was gas that floats up? Nicole

Hi Nicole; We have missed seeing you on the board.Hope you are starting to feel better.The shoulder pain is usually associated with gas.Funny place to go,but it does.Walking and changing position often will help.Hope to see you back on here more.You were a great cheerleader for all of us before surgery with your countdown.We are here for you now. Yep it sounds like gas to me. Try walking or moving onto your left side. ::hugs:: Cyndi

Hey Nicole, Sorry to hear the gas has you cramped up, yes, they puff us up to operate and it floats upward and gets stopped at your shoulder area. The work is on the left side so its the left side that hurts. It will go away in a few days, keep moving your arm. be well,. ~Tiffany

Yep - got the same thing. I'm really glad the program manager warned me before I left the hospital that it could go up into the shoulder area because I would never have thought it was gas! It is going the wrong direction if it wants to escape

Yep very bad shoulder pain for about 10 days and then it was gone. Doc said it was from the the gas. The Lortab helped

Hey Nicole...yep it hit me day 3 and I just could not sit still, so I walked all around the ward that day every chance I got. Now the more I walk the better I feel. It just is to uncomfortable to sit around. And the gas has eased off. I am having small but normal stool. I will be glad when I can actually lay down flat. Other than that...hang in there.
