Has anyone tried the adult liquid tyelenol? I quit taking the Lortab yesterday since the Vicodin in it was making me the tiniest bit nauseous. The tylenol tasted a little sweet, but it didn't upset my stomach. Anybody else have any comments about it?

My doc told me to take the sugar-free liquid Tylenol for my killer headache ever since surgery. It worked. I took 4 teaspoons and yes, it tastes nasty sweet, but it works! The liquid vicodin wasn't helping my headache at all, and my tummy didn't hurt, so I called in to ask what I could take (if anything) for the headache. Good luck.

Headaches may be brought on by too much aspartame/nutrasweet in your diet. It reacts with anesthesia.

You can dilute it with water. That's what I do with all my liquid pain meds. Just do 50-50. Amy

Adult Liquid Tylenol is a God send!! It weened me off of Loritab and I hardly use it now. I had three bottles after surgery, I have a bottle and a half left. :;hugs:: Cyndi

I haven't tried it yet. I bought some before surgery, but noticed the other day that it has sugar in it. (I forgot to read the label before I bought it) So now I am scared to take it. I have a pill crusher/cutter, though, and may try cutting some tablets into quarters when I need it again. I have a couple of other meds I am taking - Lopressor for BP, and Trazodone for sleep, that I cut into smaller pieces to take. Sandy L

Quick update -- I finally took the Liquid Tylenol, since I went back to Wal-mart and couldn't find a sugar free type. I didn't have any problems at all. I sipped it slowly and didn't gulp it down like I had been the Lortab and everything was fine. Thanks for all your responses.
