Hello Everyone, I just wanted to thank everyone for all their support and encouragement along the way. My surgery will be at 12:30noon tomorrow at Barix Clinic. WOW!!! I cannot believe how fast the time went,at times it seemed like an eternity. Please keep me in your prayers. I can't wait to see you on the losing side. Any last minute advice or suggestions on what I should bring to the hospital????? Natalie

Hi Natalie - someone has posted before I had my surgery last Monday to take a lip balm - I was glad I did, because my mouth got really dry between surgery and the lead test before I could drink. I also had packed nightgowns and pajamas and never got out of the hospital gown till the day I left - couldn't take a shower till that day after dr. removed drain so didn't see the point. So other than that, no, my needs were completely met by the hospital while I was there. Best wishes and see you on the losing side! Sylvia

Best Wishes Natalie!! All I used was: Comfy Slippers, lotion if you have someone to massage your feet (IT FEELS SO GOOD), toothbrush/paste, brush and hair clips, my own robe and clothes to go home. I also wish I had a big plastic bag. When I went in, they give you a bag to put your clothes in when you change into robe, but I hated putting my shoes in the bag with my clothes. I wish I had a separate bag to put my shoes in first. No biggie. Lisa
