DAVID!!! I am so happy you are in bed now!! Believe me it's just a matter of time. I am starting to sleep on my sides now. Once your muscles stretch and get used to the different movement, you'll be getting out of bed on your own. BTW - I roll out of bed litterally. I roll until my feet hit the floor then stand up LOL!! ::hugs:: Cyndi

It'll be better rest for you now in your own bed. I also had Lap RNY and my husband helped me in and out of bed for about four days after I came home until I insisted on trying it myself by rolling on my side, and using my elbow to push up. It hurt a few times and he stood by a couple of times to help if I needed it, but I didn't. It just kept getting easier. Within the last week I have FINALLY been able to spend longer amounts of time on my side asleep at night like I always slept pre-surgery! Compared to some here, I am still taking baby steps at getting better...but at least it is baby steps in the right direction! Keep up the good work! Sandy L

Hi Dave Hopefully with the stapels out you will start to feel better. Some good coco butter will help the scar too so it doesn't pull. Good luck on Thursday! Regards and hugs, Ronna
