Hi everyone--I have another post op question: I had surgery 2 weeks ago as of today, the first 10 days home i felt great, everything i was eating settled fine, i was getting in between 70-80g of protein per day, i was taking my vitamins without a hitch, everything tasted great and i was drinking between 50-64oz of h2o per day--well as of Sat through today it hasnt been the same-i am still on a full liquid diet until thurs and everything i have been eating up until now all of asudden now isnt appealing at all, when i take a sip of anything i feel a little nauseous but it is going down- i actually feel a weird kind of feeling in my throat not my pouch---due to this i havent been able to get in all my water and my protein like i was the first 10 days---im not sure whats happening? could the start of a stricture? i would appreciate anyones advise and I am calling my doctor in the am--thanks -Lori

Ask your doctor, but most foods aren't really that appealing to me either. There are some foods I think yeah I finally get to have and when tasting them, I'm very disappointed. It's a part of this process. As for the feeling in your throat, talk to the doc. ::hugs:: Cyndi
