Staples???

It looks like i have glue all over my insision. Elsa

I was lap, had seven small incisions ranging from 1-2" with a total of 22 skin staples (on the outside) as well that were very ready to come out a week ago. On the inside, I seem to vaguely remember hearing the doctor say something about titanium staples and should be okay if I ever need to have an MRI in the future? I'll have to ask him about that again. Sandy L

Hi Everyone, I had open RNY & had 5 "holes" with 3 staples in each. They looked like real staples & were removed a week after surgery. I had the sterie strips for another week and now nothing. They are beginning to heal nicely. Carly

hi Kristie i have staples the dr said they will most likely be removed this thurs. he kept them in so long due to the weight of my belly. dave
