Happy February! We ALL Made It!
Yes, Elsa, it DOES get easier. I'm about a week and a half out and am feeling nearly 100%. Each day brings a little more comfort. Not to mention one day closer to the end of the liquid diet -- woo-hoo!
I would definitely do this again, knowing that my life will totally benefit in every way from this surgery.
Oh my, at first I thought I had made a huge mistake. I was in the hospital 6 days and felt horrible. After I got home I didnt feel much better either. Now at 3 weeks out I feel a lot better. But Im still not 100%. My left side is still killing me and sleeping is difficult. But Im down 37 pounds and I know that this is going to work for me and that makes it all worth it. So YES I would do it all over again. Its funny, my cousin asks me every time she sees my if it was worth it. She is having the surgery in a few months and I think I scared her while I was in the hospital. Right after surgery (which I dont remember), I woke up long enough to look at her and say "dont do it". Then went back to sleep. LOL

Ronna,
Though on my second day in the hospital (was still very nauseas and in a lot of pain) I questioned as to whether or not I had done the right thing, I would definatly do it again!
And though I've whined a lot these past couple weeks, I would STILL do it all over again!

Hi Januarians,
Yes, I would absolutely do it all over again. I have gained control of an issue that's haunted my a lifetime. I've gained self esteem.
Today is 3 weeks and I am still sore on my left side and also have problems sleeping - last night was the first time I could lay on my side and only for an hour - but its all been worth it and I am not looking back other than to say goodbye past life!! And goodbye the 28 lbs that I'll never see again...........
