Anyone having trouble sleeping?
The past few days, I just can not get a night's sleep. I fall asleep between 10 and 11 and I wake up after a couple hours and can't get back to sleep. I am working and not taking naps at all. After 3 nights, I've about had it.
I am wondering if it is the B-12? I don't know. I do take it in the morning though. I am thinking to call doc and get some ambien or something.

Lisa;
There are nights when nothing will wake me up, but most nights I wake up about 2 or 3am and maybe get back to sleep around 5am, but then the alarm goes off at 6:30.
I think I am going to try to do some light excerise just before I go to bed and see if that works. I have not be released yet for heavy excerise, but my doctor did say I could do 10min a day on my bike.
Good luck to you,
Karen
Yes, LISA!!!
Just the last couple of nights... I've been exhausted, but I sleep for a couple of hours and then I'm wide awake.
I hate it. I'm tired. I haven't started taking B-12 yet, Dr. said I should be good until late Feb.
Nothing else has changed, except that I have started a normal workout. I joined Curves and did the workout Wed and Thurs. I will have to give it a break for a couple of days, though, because one of my incisions is giving me some pain.
Maybe it's our metabolism gearing up, and our body is not needing so much rest?
If it happens to me again tonight, I think I will get up and start cleaning or doing something, instead of trying to get back to sleep...
I have always needed about 7-8 hours of sleep, and able to sleep more if given the opportunity. I don't know if I will like only getting 3-5 hours...
Wow, it is nice to know I'm not the only one. I called my doc today and he said it is increased energy or not related to the surgery.
I don't know if I buy that it is not related to the surgery. I've NEVER had a problem sleeping before. I am glad it is the weekend though so I don't have work on top of the insomnia.
have a great weekend all
Lisa
