Just wondering how long it took all of you before your stomach felt like it was back to it's original size (or smaller!!). I'm 11 days out and I still can't button jeans that I had no problem buttoning before surgery. Lisa

I had surgery on the 24th and still feel bloated and incredibly gassy at times! I have had a few serious bouts of diarrhea too. I thought it might have been lactose intolerance but, has happened even when not comsuming dairy. I've asked other WLS people and they said this is very common. It should clear up in a few weeks. I can't wait until it does!

I agree with Ronna... it seemed everything got better at the 2 week mark, bloating, gas, getting in liquid and protein... I think 2 weeks is a standard recoop time. ::hugs:: Cyndi

I just had surgery on 1-30-06. And released on February 1, 2006. Second day after surgery i had the worst headacke only on my right side of neck. Everyday around mid afternoon through evening it seems to come back. BUt today no headacke but both my shoulders really hurt. Hot showers, back rubs from my husband, tylenol with codiene doesn't seem to help. Anyone else going through the same thing?
