Cold/Cough medicine?? Any ideas?

Hi all! I have a horrible cough and I am coughing so hard that I am becoming nauseous and "foamie". I also have a cold. When our weather here goes from 50 degrees to 25 degrees the next day it's no wonder I am sick, huh? Anyways, I am about 3 1/2 weeks post-op and have no clue what I can take. Can someone give me some ideas? I can't sleep and have been sucking on ice cubes all morning. Thanks everyone and have a great Sunday! love and pixiedust~~ amber

Talk to your doctor, I know mine allowed me 3 days before surgery to have sudafed. But that is something you really need to talk to him/her about. ::hugs:: Cyndi

I agree that a call to the surgeon is the best step but in the meanwhile our backbone drug, Tylenol, might help.

You could try Tylenol Cough and Cold. But I would call the Doc to be sure.
