10 days out down.......22lbs

Holy Crap Batman!!!!!!! Had lapband done on the 27th of Jan. and am down 22 lbs. I was planning on being happy with 10lbs the first MONTH!! My mom hasn't seen me since the day before surgery and she screamed when she saw me. lol. 42 inch waist pants no longer fit and hard to keep up with a belt even. I haven't gotten to the "full" feeling at all yet which explains why i'm only eating 500 cal/day. I'm just satisfied and i stop eating. I'm soooo on my honeymoon phase right now. Had to share this with you. Andre

CONGRATS!!! You are one of the lucky ones! My first 10 days were a nightmare!! This is pretty fun, though, isn't it! I love putting on clothes each day and having them feel even looser!!

Hi Andre, I also am a lucky one, lost 22 lbs. in 13 days at my first checkup. I feel good, not sick and really looking forward to this new life. Rosemary

Andre, that is fantastic! Yay for you. You are doing so great. Isn't it exciting that your clothes are falling off already? haha Before long, you'll be left with nothing but a loin cloth. lol whooooooo hooooo I had my RNY on the 27th and I'm down 24 pounds from the day I came home. However, 10 pounds of that was fluid that they stuffed into me while I was in the hospital, so I figure that I have really only lost 14. But, hey, this is the first time I've lost 14 pounds in 11 days. lol Thank God for WLS! Tammy
