I havent lost anything since Jan. 19th--- that is almost 20 days of a stall! Anyone else expereince this yet??? The main board they all said it is just an early stall, but I don't know. I am still waiting to hear back from my surgeons office (I called a few hours ago) but I am FREAKING out here.

I stalled for two 1/2 weeks and finally broke through over the weekend (5 lbs in 2 days). I believe, though, that anything under three weeks is considered normal, so you are right under the limit. I wouldn't stress yet, but do whatever it is your doctor tells you to do, and make sure you're getting in your fluids and protein! Good luck...I am sure that it will all work out.

I had a very slow start due to some complications but have caught up just fine now. I would suggest you step away from the scale and focus on getting your protein and fluid in every day. Also what are you doing for excersise? If you focus on these things, your new tool will work the way it's suppose to

I have not lost anything in about a week and a half. i am trying not to freak out because I too have seen all the posts about how normal it is. I am also worried that I am not doing it right, I am the one that it will not work for, I stretched my pouch... or any number of other things. I know that we are just being paranoid and need to stay the hell of the scale. I have heard of some people on here that only weigh at the Drs office.

Hello fellow staller I have also had a whole week now when nothing have happend. In my head runs every bad thought in the world what I possible can have done wong. Did I eat to much, to little, did I drink to much. I licked off the spoon of my childrens mac and cheese, was that to many calories on that spoon?.... you know, all those thoughts, that could if you let them really make you crazy. I talked to my nut today about that and she said what every one else says.... don't worry and please throw away your scale... As long as it not more than 3 weeks of stall there is nothing to worry about. Much easier said than done Let's try to think of the excitement when the scale finally moves!!!! Hugs magdalena

UPDATE ON THE SITUATION: I spoke w/ someone from the surgerons office later today. She said it was because my protein intake was too low (i was getting about 50g a day) She informed me it was supposed to be 70+ a day. So lean meats for meals all week!

Since I've increased my protein intake, I've noticed a significant change in my weight loss. I had only lost a little over 2 pounds last week and then began increasing my protein intake (per my diet's plan instructions at 3 weeks) and BAM! I dropped 4 pounds in the same amount of days! I'm not sure WHY the increase in protein helped, but it sure seemed to. Also, upon reaching 3 weeks I started taking my daily iron and multi-vitamin again, as instructed. I wonder if THAT had anything to do with it... ~Teri~ 311/279/256.2/140

How much protein are you getting in, if you are not getting enough your body goes into starvation mode and slows down, and holds on to the fat. And are you getting in your 64oz of liquids? Good luck, Lynda
