EASY Chicken
I found this chicken in the deli section that is already cooked, boneless, skinless and cut up into strips... Anyway, it is *very* moist and ready to eat out of the bag. If you are ready to move on from canned chicken, give this a try!
Foster Farms makes it and they come in 6 oz bags for around $3-4 (so considering I get 2 meals out of each bag, it isnt too bad).
They come in a few different flavors, I have tried the Southwest and the Honey flavors. Both yummy and both taste great cold or heated in the microwave.
You can find more information if you go to Foster Farms website, click on "products" on the top of the page and then click on the "lunch meats" section. Scroll down to "Chicken Breast Strips" and click on the flavor you are interested in. It will give you the Nutritional Facts and show you a picture so you know what to look for in the store.
They don't sell Foster Farms brand where I live. I've been eating the Perdue Short Cuts. It sounds to me that they are about the same thing. They come in 2 cup ziplock bags, so I get about 4 meals from each package. They have 3 or 4 kinds to choose from and they have turkey too. Here are a couple meal ideas for ya:
Obviously I start by cutting the strips into small diced pieces.
For cold (lunch meals) I add on of the following:
1ts light mayo
1ts FF italian dressing
1tb FF SF honey dejion dressing
For hot (dinner Meals) I add 2tb FF Chicken gravy.
