1. What date was your surgery? 1/23/06 2. What were your first couple weeks post-surgery like? Not easy. Challenging. Lots of soreness and pain due to fluid near incision (had to have JP drain re-inserted). Many second thoughts which still haunt me even at 3 weeks postop. Hunger, both head hunger and actual physical hunger. Anger/frustration...lots of negativity. (hey, you asked LOL!) 3. How much weight have you lost so far? 20lbs as of 2 weeks post op. I currently do not own a scale because I'd obsess over it, but I am beginning to reconsider as I feel I haven't lost a single pound over the 20. Maybe a little encouragement from the scale would improve my outlook...who knows?! 4. What has been your biggest challenge so far? Getting in all my fluids. Also, a trip to the mall (and food court) with the family watching them eat Panda's Orange Chicken killed me. 5. How much water are you consuming daily? Not nearly enough. 6. What's your favorite post-surgery food? Don't have one...on pureed food and what fun is that? (I don't puree, just chew really really well). 7. What's your least favorite post-surgery food? Prostat64 Protein Supplement...it's absolutely VILE and I refuse to take it. Also, the chicken broth aka chicken "scented" water they served in the hospital. I don't think I ever want another taste of SF Jello for as as long as I live. 8. What type of exercise are you doing and how many minutes a day? Walking...here and there, not sure about the mins per day. Chele
