Hello fellow January Surgery was January 30, 2006 I am just 2 weeks out now. I easily get tired, mood swings, crying at times over silly stuff, but at times it seems like i have alot of energy. Very Bored. I'm so use to a fast pace lifestyle and this is kicking my butt. I love to do crafts but just don't have enough energy to keep to a project. The day before surgery my weight was 272 but after coming home from surgery on February my weight was 278. And now 2 weeks out my scale says 258.. I even went out shopping at Costco yesterday and bought a new scale to make sure I started out new. And the weight was the same on both. My biggest challenge so far. Trying to drink 64 oz plus of liquid a day. And to get all the calicium citrate in though out the day. I am drinking about 4 to 7 cups of liquid a day. My favorite post-op food I would say is sugar-free custards: cheesecake, starwberry mouse. My least favorite post-op food would have to be broth-bullion-consomme. I really miss biting into something that has texture nutty, crunchy, salty, sugarly. I have been walking aroung the house and then walking fro 45 minutes around the neighborhood or once a week my husband takes me grocery shopping. Yesterday I walked 1 hour and 36 minutes around Costco. i thought I wasn't going to make it out alive. My body was dragging by the time we go home and i took a nap. Looking forward to getting released to exercise at Curves or my home equipment. Hoping the energy level kicks in soon. Hope everyone is well. HAPPY VALENTINE DAY TO ALL Suzan Gabin
