just blowing steam.
It seems that we are all about at the same stage.
My surgery was Jan 24th and even today, I feel weak and lethargic...I struggle to eat and drink but the truth is, even water makes me want to gag..warm creamed soups go down easier and SOURCE yogurt as well. Also Cup-a-Soup too..so thats what Im living on most of the time..soup and bits of cheese but I have to force myself to get it down..I have NO appetite and til yesterday, had a bad cold as well.
Im also unable to sleep more than 3 hours a day since I got home..thats so amazing to me since Im TIRED and have always been a heavy sleeper...I have NO pain so it puzzles me.
MY family doctor sent me atavan, a sedative, to help me sleep but it doesnt work..I got desperate one night and took TWO and I STILL lay in the dark for 2 long hours!
So I resort to 2 gravol chewable tablets..I still lay for over an hour before falling asleep but then I sleep for 12 hours...and now my days and nights are all mixed up! *LOL* I guess I will just have to wait it out..eventually, my body will straighten itself out...Ive just got to be patient.

Elsa,
What can I say that everyone else hasnt? Just hang in there. I know it will get better.
I had surgery on the 4th of Jan. I do not have a scale here at home because I know I would be going through exactly what you all are.
At my last visit (1 month) I think I was down like 42 pounds. But I dont feel like ive lost anything since. But I wont know until my next appt in March.
Hide the scale. Focus more on your recovery and doing what you know is right. The weight will come off. Give it time!
Im right there in your corner along with the rest of us on this site. This time will pass.. And you will be on your way once again...
Best Wishes!
Michelle
