Hi Dave, Good to hear from you. Sounds like you are doing great, don't get discouraged with the weight. It often fluctuates from day to day based on water. I can imagine you are going nuts staying at home, I was going crazy after 2 weeks. Let us know when you post the updated pictures. Take Care, Carly

David, Glad to hear you are doing well! My side pain has subsided now, too! I thought it was going to be sore FOREVER!!! I know how you feel about turning 40.... it just sort of sneaks up on you! (Where did all the time go???) I'm not sure if it's different for men, but for me, the day of my fortieth birthday, I shed a little tear and then got on with it! (I'm 43 now, so I've pretty much gotten over it by now!) So good to hear from you again! Keep us updated as to what's happening with you! ~Teri~ 311/279/253.8/140)

Hi Dave, Thanks for the update, glad to hear you are doing better. Dont beat yourself up, your accomplishments are fabulous and you should only be proud of all you've achieved so far!!! I hope you are keeping up on your water and protein. And maybe you can get to a mall for walking? Most open early and the older people tend to flock there for walking - but any time of day, its great exercise. The scale will move downward, keep the faith!!! Keep us updated and look forward to seeing your new pictures. Warm regards, Tiffany

Hi Dave - I bet you're going nuts! I was going nuts after two days and came back to my office after a week. The scale thing is really kind of a drag - I haven't figured out how to stop getting on it every morning. I am reminded of WW where they say that when the body thinks it's starving that it holds on to what it's got and the scale will take awhile to move. I thought it was BS and they just wanted us to keep coming while their diet didn't work. Now I'm wondering if maybe that's the truth - at this point our bodies are forced into literal starvation...I dunno. I just know that I expected like 15# a week and I got 15# for the first two and now nothing in the 3rd week...I still sit at 15#. But I couldn't have lost that 15# on my own, so I, along with all of you, have to continue to remember that this is a tool that will work but it still doesn't happen overnight.
