Anyone else single this Valentine's Day?

If so, how are you celebrating? I believe that we need to take some time out and pamper ourselves on this special day. What are your plans? Any ideas? I think I am going to go get a manicure and pedicure and then get a few special gifts for my boys... Regardless, enjoy this day of love!!

I am single, and have never had a sweetheart through a Valentine's Day. I don't really "celebrate" it as a day of love, because I (sub-conciously) believe it is a holiday for couples. I buy a treat for my son, and send a few Valentines, but I think I am kind of bitter about not being in a couple... It is sad to be a bitter romantic! Its a day to celebrate love and this year, lets focus on the love of ourselves and everything we have recently done to make us better, stronger, healthier. Its also my dog's 9th birthday, I need something fun to celebrate each year being single... Tiffany

I'm not single...so I hope you don't mind that I"m posting. BUT, when I was single? My single girlfriends and I would get together to do dinner and a movie. And then we got in the tradition of either renting or going to a horror flick. LOL. It made the day seem more about spending time together than being upset that we weren't getting flowers from the loves of our life.

I'm single, but I got one of my married Friends to go get a pedicure with me, so treating myself to something fun with a friend is my way of celebrating.

I gave myself a facial this morning. It felt vonderful daling

I am happily single this year and was lucky enough to have the day off today! I had big plans for a manicure at the nail salon, but then my little brother called (he is in college) and said he needed help finding a gift for his girlfriend... so we went shopping this morning. It was fun... I just got back. I think today I am going to ATTEMPT to do a one hour walk this evening. Which will be the longest yet. After that take a very long hot shower and then do some at home pamper stuff. I have a gazillion facial masks and such that I never use, so it may be time to break them out.

I am single and loving it. Dont have any plans since I am just getting back to work this week. I am going to treat myself this weekend to some new clothes!
