Weird taste issues

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I thought I was losing my mind! Im 3 weeks out and still forcing myself to drink and eat..I have NO appetite...NO thirs****er tastes disgusting..even flavoured..and I was always a heavy (bad pun) water drinker before surgery! Everything I enjoyed before turns my stomach...Id rather not eat anything but I know that I must! Nothing tastes like it did...I watch the commercials..I see hubby and my son eating pizza, burgers,steak, etc..and nothing cries out to me...I think it smells good but I have no desire to taste it at all. Im always so tired...I had my gall bladder removed as well and issues then caught a cold..I have no idea how much Ive lost..I will see the surgeon Feb 20th..I can wait til then. I refuse to be a slave to the numbers anymore....a BIG step for me! Nancy B

Not only does it happen while eating. But it picks different days too. I hated my soup on one day and loved it another. It's like you have to catch it just at the right time! Cheese is a no no cause my body doesn't like it at all, not on any day ::sigh:: Maybe things will level out later. ::hugs:: Cyndi
