SF/RF Ice cream??
I had the SF klondike bar, 1/2 was fine, another time when I ate the whole thing I felt sick. Same calories/fat as SF pudding but probably a different type of sugar alcohol, those tend to be unsettling to me.
I would not see it as a no=no unless you eat it every day and dont get in the nutritious stuff. Its in the same category as a pudding or other like treat.
I'm allowed SF frozen yogurt. I was comparing labels in the store and bought a box of SF/low calorie Breyers crunch bars and ate one last night for Valentine's Day. I did fine with it...and just logged it in Fitday. They have 7-8 gms of protein! LOL!
I also bought some SF/Fat Free vanilla ice cream but haven't had any yet. I think an occasional treat is fine, as long as it's not all the time ("occasionally"!).
JMO though!

Karyn,
Pre-op I LOVED ice cream. I could eat a big bowl every day. Needless to say I have 4 types of ice cream in the freezer now.
1. Hagan Dazs FF mango sorbet: Made me very nauseas
2. No sugar added Klondike bars: add 1/2 of one on Monday, felt fine
3. Edy's No sugar added whole fruit pops: had 2 so far, felt fine (strawberry is delicious)
4. Edy's light SF mint choc chip double churned ice cream: Had once, felt fine...had a workout getting it out of the container though...It was hard as a brick!!
I guess I average one of these every other day. I generally have one to cool off after working out.

Hi-
I found Ben and Jerry's makes a line called Body and Soul that's under 20g of sugar per serving. I've not had a full serving [not even close] but Ihad 2 tablespoons and it made me really happy to feel like I could indulge for just a bit. My kids even like it too! I do use SF Fudgesicles and they are yummy as my evening snack. Good Luck!
Judie
