I think we all went through the same stall. I stalled for about 2 1/2 weeks! The scale finally started moving again and I got my period. The scale stopped again but I hope that when my period is over it will really get moving. Hang in there!

Hi Suzie, Just because you are not loosing pounds, it doesn't mean you are not loosing inches. You will do it. Be patient with yourself, and please don't give up hope. Hang in there! Rosa

At three weeks post op I stopped losing for almost 3 weeks. Then I dropped 5 lbs. I have stopped again for a few days now. Don't sweat it, it will come off and it's totally common by what I have been reading. Make srue that you are geting your protie, water and are excersicing. That's all you can do. It will happen some are just much slower than others. :o(

On a positive note, I read that when you are having a stall your skin has a chance to shrink. So...here's to no flabby skin!!! dawn

I hear you! My scales haven't moved for 4 days! I know I am lacking on my protein but I do get in my water and exercise. It is so disheartening. Oh well it will come in time. Good Luck

Hi Suzie, I didn't lose any weight for the first 2 weeks postop. In fact I actually gained 4.5lbs. I was bloated with gas, constipated and miserable. Now I feel great and I'm down over 50lbs! So don't worry. You'll lose weight Regards and hugs, Ronna

Hey Suzie! I was just going to post this EXACT message!! I am just short of three weeks out and have not lost weight in 4 days! I know that everyone says it is normal but it is still SOOOO discouraging! Since I am nauseous ALL the time, I would hope for some weight loss to balance out the misery Here's hoping both our scales start moving down soon! Hugs, Jersey Mom

I'm sorry about your experience, I'm also experiencing something similar...no weight loss in 7 days. I am excercising to the best of my potential and getting my vitamins, supplements, protein in and in fact I haven't even been able to eat 3x a day yet....so I understand your pain. I hope that if I stay focused things will get better! I have to hope this surgery will work. So stay positive its probably just a stall.

Do you weigh everyday? I never weigh I only do it at the doctors office. I just went for my 4 week check up and I have lost 38 pounds. You can't tell by looking at me. The doctors office said my inches should catch up next month. I think the trick is to wait longer between weigh ins. I don't know... but I was sure I wasn't losing at all. I told my husband, I am eating to much and I told him I am not eating enough. I told him I am not losing fast enough. Then when I stepped on the scale I could not believe it! You may be losing inches and not pounds. Just hang in there I am sure everything is going to turn out great!
