1 month post op pics

Hi All~ I just wanted to share that I posted 2 post-op pics of me I took today. I am 31 days out of surgery and 31 pounds down!! Woohoo!! Dawn

Oh MY!!!! I can not believe how different that you look! Oh MY! I also can't believe that you had yours open. You are a warrior. With a tube in your nose too. I admire you. I didn't have to go through all of that (when I was awake anyway). Congratulations to you!

My doc only does open RNY. He said that he feels more comfortable seeing with his own eyes. My thoughts, "Whatever you need to do to get the job done. You want to go though my big toe..be my guest as long as I can have the WLS!" In all honesty, it was a trying time in the beginning. 5 days in the hospital, 3 with that tube. Not to mention the discomfort of the incision once I got home. On a positive note, I told the nurses to take me OFF the painkillers on the second day in the hospital. Haven't taken anything for pain since. (having 2 kids all natural can do that to you *wink*) Dawn

Wow Kristi, I just looked at your profile! You look like you not only lost weight, but time. You look so much younger!! I upload my pictures to www.picturetrail.com then paste the urls in my comment box for OH. A lot of people use www.photobucket.com too, it works the same way. Dawn
