Freezing, I tell you! I know I live in MI and it's sub-freezing weather outside, but regardless, I am always the HOT one. Not now! Anyone else feeling like they live in an igloo (even when the thermostat is set to 70 degrees)!?! I can't wait for summer! Chele

Hey Chele, I have found that after each surgery that I have had my thermostat flip-flops (17 surgeries). Now I'm cold. Which I like better because I can add warmth. Being hot in the summer is the worst. Cathy

I, too, am cold as I sit here in a tshirt, heavy sweatshirt, heavy sweat pants and thick socks with slippers. And since its Sunday I indulged and put the theromstat at 71 degrees. My hands are always cold and I am layering my clothes a lot these days. Its also sub artic temps here, too. Where is spring? I guess its waiting for all of us to be past our stalls so we really feel like a new world is opening.....TTFN.

themostat on 75???? Wow, that's a heat wave! Ours is set on 62 in the evening and 58 at night (after the $600 gas and electric bill). I fight with being cold and then having overheating that makes me feel like I might pass out at any moment! De

Hello everyone...... I brought this subject up at saturday support meeting which kaiser of california recommends you attend. Well since they picked up the whole tab of the surgery except for a few fees to see a doctor for pre-op and post op I feel I can't complain. I'am 22 days out and am freezing. I thought it was because my food intake has changed. But no the doctor said as we lose weight the fat on our body shifts causing temperature changes that can cause certain parts of your body especially your limbs hands, feet to go through changes since it takes more for are blood to get to those parts of our body. And then they said this can continue the rest of your life. But if you get really bad cramps or if it wakes you up at night it is very important to contact your doctor right away it my be something else. Hope this helps............. Suzan Gabin
